It's Gonna be a Long Ten Days

One of our neighbors backed into Dewey's beloved Prius yesterday. Thankfully no one was hurt, but it did serious damage to the Prius. The car will be in the shop for at least ten days so Dewey is driving a rental.

Dewey and I went to dinner last night. On the way, he constantly commented about how the rental cannot compare to his Prius. The rental doesn't have a back-up camera. He really misses his back-up camera. His Prius has a back-up camera. The rental doesn't have good storage. There sure is a lot of wasted space in the rental that could be used for storage. The Prius has a lot of storage. The rental does not have a handy handle to use when pulling the trunk down. It's so inconvenient. Of course, the Prius has a handle. We can't possibly take any long trips. The rental uses too much gas. The Prius doesn't waste gas like that!

It's gonna be a very long ten days!

Update: Dewey came home on Friday complaining about the name of his rental car. What kind of name is Avenger? It sounds angry! "And one more thing, a McDonalds Iced Coffee doesn't taste the same in a Dodge Avenger as it does in a Prius!"
